Shop Local Chilliwack was created by local businesses for local businesses. As independent business people, we continued to see the need for a program that highlights the exceptional home based, and small to medium size businesses that we have in the Chilliwack community…the place we call “home”…and to outline the benefits of “spending locally” for our consumers.

The main objective of Shop Local Chilliwack is to promote and support all of the locally-owned and operated businesses located in Chilliwack and to highlight the many benefits of shopping local, and in conjunction, to offer the citizens of Chilliwack an innovative and exciting new shopping incentive program.
The program is designed to:

Educate consumers about the importance of supporting local businesses & merchants
Include all Chilliwack businesses in a collaborative promotional program & contest for local consumers.
Highlight the importance of working together to maintain a vibrant business community as a whole
Promote the unique shopping opportunities available in Chilliwack
And to provide incentives for consumers to buy from local businesses & merchants
